Description:

An 8th grader from Mitakihara Middle School. In one timeline of the old world, Homura befriended Madoka Kaname after she was saved by both her and Mami from a Witch. Shortly after, they both died against a powerful Witch known as Walpurgis Night and Homura made a contract with Kyubey by wishing to go back in time and save Madoka from her fate. During her first time re-do, she learned more of the truth about Magical Girls and how Kyubey was deceiving them when Madoka became a witch after the second defeat of Walpurgis Night and tried to reveal the truth to the other Magical Girls in the third timeline.

After the truth was learned on their own and Walpurgis Night was defeated for the third time, Madoka asked Homura to stop her from making a contract with Kyubey. Homura attempted to prevent Madoka from becoming a Magical Girl by fighting every witch on her own, but couldn’t defeat Walpurgis Night and Madoka became a Magical Girl, by making a contract with Kyubey. But after she defeated Walpurgis Night, she became the ultimate witch and Homura reset the timeline again. By the fifth timeline, she witnessed Madoka’s wish that changed the world. She continues to fight off against Wraiths in the new world, who threaten to harm what her friend Madoka.
